DESCRIPTION:Metcalfe Fair 2025\nWe look forward to welcoming you to the 169th edition of the Metcalfe Fair\, presented by the Metcalfe Agricultural Society.\nRural tradition meets modern family entertainment at the Metcalfe Fair!\n2025 will mark the 169th anniversary of this fall tradition\, held annually in the Village of Metcalfe. \nThe home of the Metcalfe Fair is 24 acres of land on the outskirts of the Village in rural south Ottawa. We’re located at 2821 8th Line Road\, Metcalfe. \nOur fairgrounds feature well-maintained accessible buildings and plenty of green space. \nWe are also home to many community activities\, including the Metcalfe Farmers’ Market\, Shroomfest\, livestock shows and sales\, weddings\, and many other public and private events. \nHeld every year since 1856\, the Metcalfe Fair is one of the premier agricultural exhibitions in Ontario. \nWe’re pretty proud of it\, and we hope that next year\, you’ll “Make it YOUR Fair.”

DESCRIPTION:Are you ready to rock this Halloween!?\nJoin Monkey Rock Music for our annual Halloween rock concert for kids – and grownups! We’ll be playing your favourite MRM songs\, as well as spooooky rock covers with our full 10 piece rock band.\nFully participatory\, our one hour long show will have everyone singing\, doing actions\, and even have a few lucky monkeys up on stage with the band.\nThere will be costume contests for best individual child costume\, and best family theme costume\, as well as our famous Family Dance Contests – you could come home with a trophy!\nThere are three shows to choose from\, at 11am\, 2pm\, and 4:30pm. This event sells out EVERY YEAR\, so be sure to get your tickets today. This event is ideal for kids ages 2-10 years old.\nNOTE: There’s no volume control on a drum kit…though we try to keep the sound levels as low as possible\, it still can be a little loud.
