DESCRIPTION:Spring is here\, and we are hosting a day of hands-on\, family-friendly activities and games to celebrate! Explore the heritage village and discover through fun\, engaging play how people\, plants and animals marked the turn of the season. Say hello to the Easter Bunny\, meet some new animal friends\, complete Henrietta Hen’s scavenger hunt\, collect a small treat along the way and more. Hop into Spring is best suited for families with children ages 3 to 8\, but younger and older siblings are welcome to join.\nSpecial guests: The Zoo Crew\, Ottawa Fire Services and Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society – Ottawa Valley Chapter.\nRegistration includes admission for up to six people. Children under two are not counted toward the group total. At least one adult (18+) must be present to accompany children.\nApril 4 from 9 am to 3 pm (final entry by 2 pm).Cost: $23.63 per group\, plus tax. Maximum of 6 people per group; children under 2 years of age are not counted toward the maximum group size.Advance registration is required: https://tinyurl.com/a9cr5apx\nNotes:– This program runs rain or shine and takes place both indoors and outdoors. DESCRIPTION:Spring Has Sprung at the Diefenbunker! \nFamilies are invited to visit the Diefenbunker for a day of springtime fun underground. Guests can explore the four-storey Cold War bunker while searching for signs of spring\, take part in a visual scavenger hunt for colourful eggs and flowers\, create a butterfly or bunny craft\, decorate an egg to take home\, and enjoy games and activities. \nPudge the Bunker Buddy has also brought along a furry friend—keep an eye out for this special visitor collecting the eggs they left behind! \nDate: Saturday\, April 4\, 2026Time: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (entry every 15 minutes; last entry at 2:00 p.m.)Admission: $13.65 per person; infants 2 and under are free \nTickets must be purchased in advance as spots are limited.
