Arts Ottawa Awards Ceremony
The Ottawa arts community is thriving, and we are thrilled to come together for an evening of celebration and recognition at the Arts Ottawa Awards Ceremony. This annual event honours the outstanding work of local artists and arts leaders, shining a spotlight on creativity, innovation, and leadership across disciplines. Five awards will be presented to exceptional recipients. Join us in celebrating their achievements!
The ceremony will feature live music from The Seaborn Sisters Laura Seaborn (vocals) and Jennie Seaborn (drums), Featuring Mark Ferguson (piano/trombone), who bring decades of performance, teaching, and award-winning experience to the stage.
We’re also excited to welcome our hosts for the evening, Lydia Talajic and Velvet Wells, who will guide us through the ceremony with insight, warmth, and their signature styles.
For over 35 years, the Arts Awards have celebrated artistic excellence and helped shape Ottawa’s cultural identity. As Arts Ottawa, we have reimagined the program through a community co-design process to reflect the diversity, realities, and aspirations of today’s arts sector, ensuring the awards continue to be meaningful, inclusive, and relevant.
